University City Housing (UCH) is a Philadelphia-based Property Management Company that buys, renovates, maintains, and manages real estate for long-term investment. Our current portfolio consists of 4,000 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space in the Greater Philadelphia region.

UCH is seeking a self-motivated, fun, innovative and outgoing Event & Social Media Coordinator to work in a fast paced, full service Clubhouse venue that is located in the heart of our community, Summit Park Communities (www.summitphilly.com). The Event & Social Media Coordinator helps make the Clubhouse an inviting and exciting place that offers a full calendar of events (both onsite and offsite) that current and prospective residents want to attend.  

 

This position is the ambassador for the community as well as the social media guru - introducing the complex to outside clients to acquaint them with the services and amenities that Summit Park Communities can provide and embodies the motto Have Fun Where You Live.

 

This position will be an integral part of the onsite marketing and will assist marketing team efforts in the planning and execution of local marketing initiatives and resident engagement.

The Event and Social Media Coordinator will also assist management with facilitating company events and training seminars that are scheduled to take place at the Clubhouse.

This position is responsible for promoting and attending all events, fitness activities, specialty nights and clubhouse amenities (etc.) to all four complexes located within Summit Park Communities, using:

·         Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram

·         The community channel

·         The distribution of creative flyers (experience in Photoshop and InDesign a plus)

·         The monthly newsletter/events calendar

·         Additional social media outlets as deemed by the Marketing Director

 

Promotional success begins with proper planning and timely execution.  The Event and Social Media Coordinator is personally required to create, promote, attend and follow through with all events (with the assistance of the Clubhouse Manager) and conduct post-event analysis to help with future planning and initiatives.

 

Qualifications Required:

College Degree 
Valid Driver's License and vehicle 
Outlook and Excel Experience 
Energetic, creative, outgoing, highly organized 
Ability to work full time, flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
